CHILD REGISTRATION

Please note that parents (Only Moroccan Nationals) have to register with this Consulate prior to their child registration. Please refer to registration within this site:
- A $8 money order payable to the Consulate of Morocco. (Please write your name & address on the money order).
- Please fill out the registration form (for both parents) if you are not registred with this Consulate.
- Please fill out the attached forms (Child Registration1 & 2)
- Moroccan or Islamic Marriage certificate.
- Birth certificates of both parents.
- Birth certificate of new born.
- The “Livret d’Etat Civil” (Family Book). In case you do not have one please refer to "Family Book" within this site.
- A prepaid self addressed express mail for return.
- Fees for returning your mail are not included in the fees above. To ensure the reception of your document, please include a prepaid express mail envelope obtained from the post office. Please note that this is the only mailing method accepted. Thank you.
Please note that registration of your child should be done within 1 year after his/her birth. If we recieve your file after 1 year we will have to send it to The Court in Morocco for the Judge’s approaval (This proceduer will take 2 to 4 months).
