Natioanl ID Card

If your National Identity card (Carte d'Identite Nationale) has expired, you have to renew it by mailing the following documents to the Consulate, along with the attached form:

- Please download the form bellow and fill it out (this form is necessary even if you are registred with us & you have the original of your Carte Nationale).
In Case you have The expired "Carte d'Identite Nationale" you will need the following:

- The expired "Carte d'Identite Nationale"
|
- Two (2) passport pictures. (Would you please write your full name & your Carte Nationale # on the back of the pictures).

- Photocopy of the Consular Card (If you do not have one you need to register with the Consulate fee $10. Please refer to Consular registration).

- A money order of $15 for National Identification Card only payable to the Consulate of Morocco. ( please note that you can send only one money order of $25 for both Consular card, in case you do not have one, and National Identity Card).( please write your name & address on the money order. IF YOUR CARD IS LOST or you just turned 16 years old & you never had one, YOUR PRESENCE AT THE CONSULATE IS MANDATORY IN ORDER TO BE FINGERPRINTED FOR A DUPLICATE,, a RENEWAL, or a NEW card.).

- IF you would like to renew you card or YOUR CARD IS LOST or you just turned 16 years old and you never had one, YOUR PRESENCE AT THE CONSULATE IS MANDATORY IN ORDER TO BE FINGERPRINTED FOR A DUPLICATE or a new one. & you will need A birth certificate or a copy of the "Livret d'Identite d'Etat Civil".
- Fees for returning your mail are not included in the fees above. To ensure the reception of your document, please include a prepaid express mail envelope obtained from the post office. Please note that this is the only mailing method accepted. Thank you.

*Please note that " La Carte Nationale" is issued or renwed in Rabat & it takes about 6 to 8 weeks to be returned to the Consulate General. Please call the Consulate at 212-7582625 Ext:240 after 2 months of deposit of application.
