- An original family book may replace an original birth certificate only in case it is filled out in both Arabic and French, and providing the following information:

- An application form (fiche individuelle de renseignements)

- A money order in the amount of $12.50 payable to the consulate of morocco

- A copy of your consular card (or an extra $8.25 money order and one picture to have one issued)

- Fees for returning your mail are not included in the fees above. To ensure reception of your cnie, please include a prepaid express mail envelope, obtained from the post office. Please note that this is the only mailing method accepted.
