Visa Application
Please note that Citizens of the following countries do not need a visa to enter the Kingdom of Morocco and may stay up to 90 days (If your stay is longer than 90 days, a resident permit is required and can be issued by the Police Department of your place of residence in Morocco):
Citizens from countries not listed above do need a visa and must submit all the following documents:
Tourist Visa
- All items must be completed on the front and reverse of the application form
- Your original valid passport (minimum validity of 6 months at the entry date)
- Copy of your original passport
- One passport size color photo (Would you please write your full name on the back of the pictures)
- Copy of your legal status in the US: Green card, F1 Visa and H1B-Visa
- Copy of the I-94
- Copy of your detailed flight itinerary and/or copy of the ticket in case of purchase
- Employment verification from your employer in the US
- For students, copy of I-20 and a recent letter from the school confirming that the applicant is attending the school
- For business owners, copy of the last Income Tax as substitute of the employment letter
- Hotel reservation or notarized Letter of Invitation from your sponsor in Morocco or hotel reservation
- For applicants married to Moroccan citizens, a copy of the marriage certificate plus a copy of the Moroccan passport or national ID of the Moroccan spouse, can be a substitute for the invitation letter or for the hotel reservation
- Fees:
- For 3 to 90 days stay period (one entry): $31
- For 3 to 90 days stay period (2 entries): $46
Transit Visa
- All items must be completed on the front and reverse of the application form
- Your original valid passport (minimum validity of 6 months at the entry date)
- Copy of your original passport
- One passport size color photo (Would you please write your full name on the back of the pictures)
- Copy of your legal status in the US: Green card, F1 Visa and H1B-Visa
- Copy of the I-94
- Copy of your detailed flight itinerary and/or copy of the ticket in case of purchase
- Fees :
- For 24 hours stay period: $13
- For 48 hours stay period: $17
Submitting your application:
Application can be sent by mail or submit in person
If you have to mail your passport, avoid using regular mail. Please use US express mail. Do not forget to send a self addressed Express Mail envelope for passport return (Express-mail of USPS is the only form of mailing accepted for applicant applying from the US)
Mail your completed application attention "Visa Department"
Method of payment:
Please be advised that the consulate does not accept personal checks. Only money orders, company checks, or cash (if applying in person). Please do not send cash in the mail.
All the payments should be paid to the order of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Processing your application:
Your application will be processed only if you provide all items listed by the above guidelines. The processing time is no less than three business days.
For Non Residents of the US:
Residents of countries other than the US must contact the nearest Moroccan Consulate or embassy of country of residence. If you need assistance, you are kindly requested to contact the Visa Department Ext 242 PRIOR to mailing your package.

Note:
Visa Issuance will be carried out at the sole discretion of the Consulate General.
